About me
I am a dedicated father, husband, and mental health professional with over 21 years of experience in the field.
My journey into this work began with my own recovery process, which sparked a deep commitment to helping others navigate their own paths to healing.
Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working and training at respected institutions, including Abu El Azayem Hospital,
Dar El Mokattam, and currently part-time at Hodoa Psychiatric Hospital, El Nahar Center for Psychiatry and Addiction, as well as the Radical Recovery Counseling Center.
My professional background has equipped me with the tools and knowledge to support individuals facing a range of mental health challenges.
I specialize in addiction therapy, having worked extensively with individuals struggling with alcohol, drugs, relationships, sex, pornography, gambling, and other forms of self-medication. I firmly believe that underlying every addiction is often an unresolved trauma, which leads individuals to seek coping mechanisms that provide temporary relief but ultimately fail to address the core issues. My approach focuses on helping clients build the skills to manage life’s challenges without resorting to self-destructive behaviors.
I hold a Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Tanta University, as well as an Addictions Therapy Diploma from the National Training Institute. Additionally, I have earned Diplomas in Schema Therapy and Schema Therapy for Couples from the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST) in Switzerland. My training includes a variety of therapeutic modalities such as addiction counseling, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy. I work collaboratively with other therapists and psychiatrists to ensure that my clients receive comprehensive, holistic care.
In addition to my work in the mental health field, I have experience working with multinational organizations. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, and engaging in activities like snorkeling and fishing.
Services
You don't need to fix this alone.
Addiction
Addiction is a complex, often misunderstood condition that involves compulsive behaviors despite negative consequences. It can affect the brain’s reward system, making it difficult for individuals to stop engaging in a behavior, whether it’s substance use, gambling, or even activities like shopping or gaming. Addiction is not a choice, but rather a chronic, treatable condition that requires support, understanding, and a holistic approach to recovery. It impacts not just the individual but also their relationships, mental health, and overall quality of life. Recognizing addiction as a medical condition is key to offering empathy and effective help.
Social Anxiety
Social anxiety is more than just feeling nervous in social situations; it’s a persistent fear of being judged or rejected by others. For those who experience it, everyday activities like meeting new people, speaking in public, or even attending gatherings can feel overwhelming. It often involves self-doubt and an intense desire to avoid situations that trigger discomfort Despite these challenges, many people with social anxiety are resilient, finding ways to manage their emotions and embrace their individuality. Understanding social anxiety is the first step to breaking the stigma and offering support
Couple Therapy
Couple therapy, also known as relationship counseling, is a collaborative process where partners work with a trained therapist to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their bond. It provides a safe, neutral space for couples to explore their feelings, understand each other’s perspectives, and address issues such as trust, intimacy, or life transitions. The goal of couple therapy is not necessarily to fix everything immediately, but to empower couples with the tools and insights needed to navigate challenges together and build a healthier, more fulfilling relationship.
Personality Disorder

These patterns are inflexible and pervasive, often causing significant distress or difficulty in personal, social, or occupational functioning. There are different types of personality disorders, each with unique traits and challenges, such as Borderline Personality Disorder, Narcissistic Personality Disorder, and Antisocial Personality Disorder. With the right treatment, including therapy and support, individuals with personality disorders can work towards understanding their patterns and improving their relationships and overall quality of life.
